Calling all Children.Here at Just add Water Sports we are starting a new season of PADI Seal Team Scuba Divers. If you are aged 8 or over come down and find out what it's all about. Fantastic things like Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, Search and Recovery, Diving and DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle).These are just a few of the things you can do. The Seal Team is open to all children it runs every Saturday and Sunday with two sessions on a Saturday first at 10am the second at 1pm. With another session run on the Sunday afternoon. What's in it for the kids?They learn to Scuba Dive for starters with a Crew Pack, when they sign up. As they go through each of the five Aqua Mission's they receive a new badge and stickers to show there progress in diving - once they have finished all five Aqua missions its just the beginning from there they can go on to the PADI MASTER SEAL TEAM SPECIALTY AQUA MISSIONS lets not stop there.When you are aged 10 or older there is lots more for you to do, for starters you can become a Junior Open Water Diver that means you could be diving in the sea to a depth of 12 meters which is 40 feet so you can then go diving in lots of dive locations, and with lots of SPECIALTY courses available to you.When you are aged 15 you can become an Open Water Diver that lets you dive to 18 meters which is 60 feet! - The PADI Seal Team Program is an exciting underwater activity-filled introduction to the world of scuba diving.
- The PADI Seal Team Program gives children a chance to swim around underwater and experience adventure, discovery and thrills. It also provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills learn about the aquatic realm and have a lot of good, clean fun.
- To become official in the PADI Seal Team, kids must complete the five Aqua Missions.
- These activities develop fundamental scuba skills and knowledge.
- Children learn about diving by watching the PADI Seal Team Video, through PADI Seal Team Aqua Mission activity book and during pre-dive briefings with their PADI Instructor.
- Each session consists of a briefing, a skill session and under water activities.
- Completing the pool dive and answering questions in their PADI Seal Team Aqua Mission Logbooks earns young divers an Aqua Mission decal.
- Finishing Aqua Missions 1-5, which is equivalent to completing the skills in Confined Water Dive One from the PADI Open Water Diver Course, means youngsters are PADI Seal Team members.
- Receiving a PADI Seal Team member card and wall certificate recognises their accomplishments and allows them to work toward PADI Seal Team Master Recognition.
These courses are run every Saturday and Sunday maximum group of 6*Participants need a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or more with them upon initial signing up for the Course.
